ABOUT ARTIST

 

Silvia Cerroni was born in Rome in 1973. After an engineering background she started to learn the goldsmith techniques at the Arti Orafe Academia by Salvatore Gerardi in Rome. She took part and arrived in first places in several international jewels competitions (“Desideri Preziosi”, “German Award for Jewellery and Precious Stones”, “Art Jewelry Forum” (California), “Bijou d'Autore”…). Her work is featured internationally in exhibitions and private as well as public collections. Teacher at the Master Fashion Jewellery Design of Accademia Costume e Moda in Rome.  Silvia Cerroni founded and is president of the Officine di Talenti Preziosi Association.
